Trump Plans to Name Billy Bush Chair of FCC

According to a high-level source inside the Trump transition team, President-elect Trump plans to name Billy Bush, former co-host of NBC’s Today Show, Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). An independent U.S. government agency, FCC regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite, and cable in all 50 states.

Bush served as primary anchor of Access Hollywood, an American weekday television entertainment news program from 2004 until 2016 when he joined the Today show. In October 2016, he became embroiled in controversy after a 2005 recording surfaced of him having a lewd conversation with Mr. Trump. After the scandal broke, Bush was fired from Today.

“Poor Billy needs a job real bad and the President-elect feels sorry for him, especially since he is partially responsible for the nosedive Bush’s career has taken,” our source reported. “Besides, Donald likes to hang out with Billy who tickles his funny bone.”

This source also reported that the President-elect plans to institute a regular series of informal, male-only, “stag” parties at the White House. Mr. Trump wants Bush, as FCC chair, to organize these events, line up the entertainment, and serve as emcee.

Reportedly, Bush is already planning the first such event, a stag party late on Inauguration Day after the balls are over. Comedian Andrew Rice Clay has been signed to headline the show. In his act, Clay assumes a swaggering, brash, and macho persona who jokes about such topics as the size of male sex organs. He makes copious scatological (bathroom) references. Accordingly, this event will held in the White House Blue Room.

  1. Makes me wonder who Trump will name in his other key appointments. Do you think the Confounded Environmentalist has any idea as to who they might be? Wondering especially about Ted Nugent, Omarosa and Kim K?
